...and the day finally came!!

August 26th, 2011, my pictures finally were published on Playboy's All-Naturals .

It was such a surreal experience to see myself on Playboy.com but also so "enhanced"!! I had always wondered what I would look like if I was ever photographed with professional hair and makeup and now I finally know! 

     

Bartender of the Month Shoot

After everything had quieted down for a bit after my first Playboy shoot, I recieved an email congratulating me on getting Playboy's Bartender of the Month! I was so excited especially after how much fun I had during my first shoot. Off to the city, I went! When I got to the studio, I was stunned! In a building that looked like a typical New York City office building, there was floors and floors of beautiful sets for shoots! My day went just like my first shoot...First hair and makeup, then an overview of what was going to be done that day and then it was time for some posing and pictures. I had worn a pair of my favorite heels to the set and was so happy when they decided to let me wear them for the shoot! They are beige with dark beige lace on them and have to be atleast 5-inch heels!!

Anyway, it was after my first shoot that I was informed I would also be testing for playmate that day. My level of excited was above and beyond. They had me put on a little pair of frilly red and white undies, a red beaded neclace and awesome red pumps. My hair was super curly and my make up artist topped it all off with some bright red lipstick. I have never worn red lipstick up until that point and if I must say so myself, I looked pretty..well...for lack of a better term...like I was "up to no good". ;)

All-in-all it was just another day in the life of a Playboy model but heck, it was once again, one of the best days of my life.

My first shoot was even more fun than my audition! It was AMAZING!!! I shot four different scenes for three different news stand special magazines...

My Closed Audition

It was time, the day of my closed audition and I had had only 3 days to prepare....There was no vigorous workouts or overload of tanning...it was all of me or none of me. I had to choose a two piece set of lingerie or a bathing suit and I decided to go with a black silky bra and red and black booty shorts...with red high heels ofcourse. My hair was naturally all over the place like it usually is and my make up was minimal. I didn't want to try too hard because I didn't want to be choosen for trying to be someone else. My best friend who I spoke about in my previous post drove and the second I got into the car my nerves were gone. Getting naked was never a concern for me but it was my lack of experience behind a professional camera that gave me a serious case of butterflies. When I got to the city and into the studio, I was met by a producer and photographer who have now, after working with them multiple times, have become two of my most favorite people on this earth.

Long story short, I had the most amazing time of my life. It is difficult to describe the level of fun and enjoyment one can get from being a model. I wasn't too concerned after the shoot about how I did, just having that experience to always look back on was just as exciting to me as getting choosen....and well, 2 weeks later, I recieved the amazing news that I was going to get to do it all over again...

How it began..

First let me start off by saying I have the most amazing best friends in the whole entire world. They are addicted to adventure just like me and we can have fun absolutely anywhere. From a concert, to our job to even the DMV (eekk!), we can always turn a boring situation into some of the most amazing memories. One day in May, one of my friends and I were in the middle of some desperately needed "girl talk" when she brought up the idea of me trying out for Playboy. Me being me, I obviously jumped on the idea because I knew that would be such a fun experience. I had never had any professional photos taken of me, not even my senior portrait in high school! So since I had always wondered what it would be like to live the life of a model for a day, I said why not? That day I opened my Mac Book Pro, went to Playboy.com and did a little research on how to try out. I began to fill out the application, took only 4 photos using my photobooth application and clicked send. Did I really ever think i'd get a call back? No, not really since I could only imagine the amount of girls that send pictures in on a daily basis. But a week and a half later, guess what happened! I recieved a call from Playboy as well as an email offering me a closed audition to tryout! After I got off the phone the first person I called was my best friend who had given me the idea in the first place. She was screaming with excitement on the other end of the phone to the point where I had to pull the phone away from my ear! At that moment, I didn't really realize how much my life would change but now, looking back on that moment, that is where this incredible adventure began...

Hello world! As you can see from my bio, I am so excited to be beginning my journey as a Playboy model! I am from New York and love the outdoors and my job as a bartender! The purpose of this blog is so that one day I can look back on this exciting adventure and re-live all of the wonderful memories it has brought me so far.
